High-Performance Tapered Roller Bearing Solutions for Challenging Industrial Applications

Schaeffler tapered roller bearings are convincing due to their high load carrying capacity and precise shaft guidance in an ever smaller installation space. They consist of an outer ring (cup) and an inner ring with roller and cage assembly (cone). A window cage guides the tapered rolling elements and ensures a uniform load distribution. For technical reasons, single-row tapered roller bearings are almost always adjusted against a second tapered roller bearing in a mirror arrangement in order to satisfy the highest requirements. Their separability allows flexible mounting because the inner ring, rollers, and cage can be installed separately from the outer ring.
